Just wanted to bring this back to the surface, since I'm running into the same bug as above. I've run my server on a tapped interface via Wireshark, and I can confirm that the correct cookie parameters are being sent to the server, but the old values are still returned.
Did anyone come up with a workaround for this? Or, can a fix be expected in the future?

Found a fix: in cookie.cc the CookieJar class' add() function uses insert(), but the map was never cleared, so it retains the original value. Fixing this to operator[] resolves the issue. Note that to do this you must add default values for the Cookie class constructor, now taking std::string = "", std::string = "". I'll submit a pull request when I have a chance.
