The issue is that breakWords
is not support in BitmapText. Happy to add a bounty for this if someone would like to implement similar to Text.
The workaround is to use HTMLText (most accurate, slowest perf-wise) or Text (okay breaking behavior, little faster than HTMLText).

heya, we have the same thing for v7. Currently Bitmap text does not break large words. For now is it possible for you to add breaks to your large words?

The official API reference states,

To split a line you can use '\n' in your text string, or, on the style object, change its wordWrap property to true and and give the wordWrapWidth property a value.
so I thought it was possible to control with style.wordWrap
and style.wordWrapWidth
.
For now is it possible for you to add breaks to your large words?
Wrapping with single-byte spaces " "
or line breaks \n
is possible. However, since I prefer using Japanese bitmap fonts, I strongly desire automatic character-by-character wrapping.
