In this case your extraModules belongs to NixOS, not Home Manager. With your configuration you should be able to move plasma-manger into your Home Manager import list:

home-manager.users.pol.imports = [
  inputs.plasma-manager.homeManagerModules.plasma-manager
  ./hosts/common/home.nix
  ./hosts/common/kdeplasma.nix # <- generated by rc2nix
  { home.stateVersion = "22.05"; }
];

It looks like you may be trying to use this package as a NixOS module, when it's actually a Home Manager module. Import it into your Home Manager configuration. If you use flakes there's an example flake in the example directory.

Indeed, I noticed that I was importing the file at the wrong place.

However, moving the file at the right spot is also throwing the same issue.

Here's the relevant part of the flake.nix:
