Seems like user is cached when authenticated.
Plugin version 0.8.01, unity version 4.3.4f1
Once i login successfully, i kill the app completely, clear ram, even disable all internet connections, No Welcome Back, BUT user is authenticated. I can open Achievements and Leaderboard UI's with no connection to the internet. Not sure if report progress will go through and when it gets connection will it update.

Yes, Play Services stays connected for a while. And it won't spam the user
with welcome messages no matter how many times you reconnect, which is a
nice feature.
You will see the Welcome Back message every 12-24 hours or so. So leave
your app closed for the night and part of tomorrow to test the welcome
message.
