0.38.3 Problems in .cargo/registry polars-plan about polars HOT 4 OPEN

0.38.3 is also unusable for me -- same build errors.

@ritchie46 Sorry for pinging, but this issue has been open since 3 weeks, can we get someone to look into this? The fix provided by OP works for us too, we can raise a PR if required.
BTW, we use:

polars = { version = "0.38", features = ["fmt", "ipc", "json", "lazy", "performant", "streaming"] }
polars-arrow = { version = "0.38", features = ["io_ipc", "io_ipc_compression"] }

It seems that the parquet feature needs to be added with 0.42.0.
