Can confirm that it does an invalid transformation in cluster_with_columns
. I will see if I can fix it tomorrow.
from polars.
Can reproduce.
It seems related to the new cluster_with_columns
optimization as it works when disabled.
(
pl.LazyFrame({
"col1": [None, True]
})
.with_columns(
col1=pl.lit(False)
)
.with_columns(
pl.when(
~pl.col("col1")
)
.then(pl.lit(True))
.otherwise(pl.lit(False))
.alias("col2")
)
.with_columns(col2=pl.lit(False))
.collect(cluster_with_columns=False)
)
