Upgrade error from 4.6 to 4.10 (and above) about pretix HOT 4 CLOSED

NullBooleanField was removed in django-restframework 3.14, but 4.10 should still use django-restframework 3.14, so that has me a little confused:

Might be work skipping to 4.15 or newer directly?

Thanks for your quick response, but this didn't work either :( Same error. Any ideas? Or in general, is this the way to upgrade pretix:

• pull newer images and run pretix upgrade manually?

Just asking because I saw auto migration, which can be disabled as docker envvar. I assume it's active by default and there is no need to run 'python upgrade'?

EDIT: Going to the UI under /control/global/update/ - we still see Version 4.6 but we run docker image 4.9 already.

Are you sure you are running 4.9? That does not sound really plausible, and if you were still somehow running 4.6 that would somehow explain the issue.

Yes.

In theory, nothing should stop you from jumping all the way to 4.20.0 in one go, if that proves to be more successful.

Thanks for your reply @raphaelm! We reviewed our infrastructure again and it turned out, Pretix was deployed with a declared volume for /pretix/src. So in this case of course every update didn't work as we were running still version 4.6 the whole time.

We fixed this now and the update worked. Thanks again for supporting us and thumbs up for this wonderful piece of software!
