FAKIconThumbsUp/Down broken? about fontawesomekit HOT 2 CLOSED

I created a brand new testing project and FAKIconThumbsUp works just fine.
Since the icon-thumbs-up was added to Font-Awesome in version 3.2, my guess is you somehow using the v3.1 FontAwesome.otf file.
You can try the other new icons those shipped with v3.2, like FAKIconDropbox ( Here's the list: http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/#new ) , if they are also rendered as square, then my guess is likely to be true. You can also check the FontAwsome.otf file's size ( this file sits at {{Root_Of_Your_Project}}/Pods/FontAwesomeKit/FontAwesomeKit/FontAwesome.otf ), the v3.2's size should be around 62KB.

If my guess is confirmed, try to reinstall FontAwesomeKit.

Actually, I confirmed that I'm using version 3.2 of your library. My problem, it turns out, is that I'm also using https://github.com/nschum/FontAwesomeIconFactory in my project as well. I'm in the process of switching over to your library, but for the time being I need to maintain both. I'm using version 1.1 of FontAwesomeIconFactory library, which is in turn using FontAwesome version 3.1.1. They must be loaded in a order that causes the older FontAwesome font to win out when registered with iOS. So you are correct, there is nothing wrong with FontAwesomeKit, just programmer error!
