Two small updates, but no satisfactory fix:
- The value of the amplitude appears to be correct in every test case.
- The offset parameter originally assumed that the weighted mean was zero. This has been fixed, but this parameter is still inaccurate.

This has been resolved. Shifting the time coordinate from t to t - t[0] during the NFFT computations introduced an offset in phase which then translated to an offset in the optimal parameters. This has been fixed by correcting the optimal parameters in the fast_template_periodogram()
function.
