Your problem is that you don't have the v4l2src plugin for gstreamer0.10 installed. Try installing gstreamer0.10-plugins-good, or similar. In any way, that's an issue with your distribution not the software.

Sorry, I knew it had to do with my distribution, however I couldn't find what was the missing dependency.

I am facing the similar issue on ubuntu 17.04. I have also installed gstreamer1.0-plugins-good. Any idea how to resolve?
