Do we actually need a C++ compiler for this build? I'm not sure it's required, as net-snmp is C only.

I just tested it
it don't need a C++ compiler for this build
$ rpm -q gcc-c++
package gcc-c++ is not installed
$ make generator
go build
$ echo $?
0
$ ll generator
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 7455880 Jan 15 16:25 generator
from snmp_exporter.
