How to build snmp-exporter from the prometheus/snmp-exporter
git clone https://github.com/prometheus/snmp_exportercd snmp_exporterCGO_ENABLED=0 GOOS=linux go build -a -ldflags '-extldflags "-static"' .- First copy desired snmp.yml to snmp_exporter folder
- docker build . -t snmp-exporter

image: snmp-exporter
volumes:
- ./snmp.yml:/etc/snmp_exporter/snmp.yml
Volume is optional if you don't want to make image each time you only change snmp.yml
from snmp_exporter.
