Did you re-test the original sourced file with v3.0.126 or later where cpe is now a known language tag using the ISO-639-2 vs. -3 data source?

As for converting cpe to en, that is not reasonable nor feasible, there are thousands of languages that may or may not be similar in linguistics to another language.

Looks like cpe is listed in the much older ISO-639-2 spec, but is not in the ISO-639-3 spec that I used for conversions.
I added ISO-639-2 as a data source in v3.0.126.

Data sources:

• ISO 639-2 language data is sourced from the ISO 639-2 Registration Authority, download
• ISO 639-3 language data is sourced from the ISO 639-3 Registration Authority, download.

In your KeepLanguages the en entry and the cpe entries are valid, the eng entry is not a valid BCP-47 tag.

@ptr727 Thanks for the information :)

So the real issue is when plexcleaner runs the side car should say this file has already been converted it does not need to be reconverted or touched again. But any media with a cpe language plexcleaner keeps trying to reconvert these. Would it not be ideal to rename any language file of cpe to en to fix this annoying reconverting issue. I run plexcleaner on a loop and every time it gets back to a cpe file it will attempt to convert it rather than just ignore or skip it.

@ptr727 I have had time to check now it works i removed "cpe" from language and it works fine in a infinite loop.

No more high gpu or cpu reconverting the same file :)

If i come across any other bugs il share 💯

The major benefit of plexcleaner for me is reducing file sizes saving disk space removing un-needed subs and un-needed audio in foreign languages only english is needed for my setup :)
