for that you would need to set your LA to 0xf. RPI firmware doesn't allow that by default. but you can trigger such action by calling vc_unregister_LA. then FW sets LA to 0xf automatically. but that also means, that vc_sent_message will not allow you to sent any message.

(0xf is seen by FW as unregistered LA).

The build issue is probably caused by a version mismatch of one of the libraries used. Best just compile libCEC directly on the Pi or by using the instructions for Linux and providing the correct toolchain options. Unfortunately we don't have the resources to provide support for compilation issues like this one.

The Pi only forwards commands to it's own logical address the broadcast address.
