Add bower support about pusher-js HOT 9 CLOSED

Hey just checking on how this is going, really would like to use bower to retrieve this library in our application.

I've just registered pusher-js in Bower, the name of the package is pusher. It does not contain pre-built files though, which I might add in future versions. Let me know if everything works ok for you :)

bower deps need to be pre-built there generally isn't a compilation step when fetching and including bower enabled resources.

We don't check our third party resources into git. As of now, we define the dependency, but then we're at a standstill in our process without a custom grunt task or a manual build of pusher...

Please consider publishing a pre-built script for bower.

I've included distribution files for 2.1.2 and updated the tag and I'll keep updating them in future releases. Everything should work fine now, so I'm closing the issue.

@pl - Are some of the files in pusher-js still dynamically loaded? The reason I ask is that I'm wondering what happens when somebody uses a bundling system to include pusher-js locally. Should it only bundle pusher.js or pusher.min.js and then the other dynamically loaded files will be fetched as-required from the CDN?

Yeah, we still dynamically load dependencies - the SWF file, xhr.js, xdr.js and sockjs.js. You should bundle all the files and configure the CDN endpoints, if you don't want to fall back to js.pusher.com.
