@cfbolz I'm trying to fix this to be able to build Pycket with the latest PyPy (currently we're unable to do), but it seems to be about the new JsonDecoder you worked on a litte while ago, I'm not even sure where to start, can you point me in the right direction, or fix it if it's an easy/quick one, or maybe there's a way to get around? Thanks!

hm I see. Wouldn't it make most sense to keep our own pre-optimized copy of the json decoder?
