Found it! The way to go is:
self.ptymaster, self.ptyslave = pty.openpty()
s_name = os.ttyname(self.ptyslave)
self.proxy = asyncio.create_task(ModuleWrapper(s_name))and then, to send data to it:
with os.fdopen(self.ptymaster, 'wb', 0) as fd:
for line in data:
fd.write(line)
await asyncio.sleep(0.01)from pyserial-asyncio.
