It's been done for a while now and available in the Readme 👍

Just search for "designer" and you'll be taken to the spot where it's covered. I give you all the instructions you'll need, all the dependencies, etc.

But seriously though... I'm going to close this one. Believe me, I'm not going to forget it. I want to keep the issues focused on stuff that can be done in the near-term-ish.

I created a new label for this type of request.... valid... but most likely not in the next couple of months. This way they can be located when searching the closed issues.

If someone DID want to do one, it may not be all that difficult..

I thought about writing a text based form specification that could load text files to get the layout. Then I realized that the code already that!

One approach to doing a form designer would be to create a code generator tool. The Elements in PySimpleGUI are completely self-contained and are quite modular.

How about writing a cross-framework one? It would be cool if a designer could be made for all of the GUI frameworks that do not have one. WxPython, PySimpleGUI, tkinter, etc.

That's the way the Visual Studio designer works too, it just generates .NET code for the form.
