Crash on launch about qbittorrent HOT 11 OPEN

Was running on my pc last night which shutdown overnight (probably bsod)

You can see the cause in the event log.

now the program doesnt open anymore
reinstalled different versions and no difference

Could you check permissions for %APPDATA%\qBittorrent\rss folder, remove storage.lock file from it (if exists) and run qBittorrent again?

ok so it seems the torrent i was downloading had a corrupted file, which i deleted and then it works again, the whole torrent's progress is lost though.
Now i do have the issue that if i restart my torrents list comes up empty (only one item is stuck and the rest is gone).

@LYNK-INCUU Do you by any chance have netlimiter installed?

I've got lots of BSODs at the moment.
I've done quite a lot of diagnostics: hard disk/SSD test, RAM test, Windows system test... all OK.

I hadn't had a BSOD for a few days. Just now, I restarted qbittorent and about 5 minutes later, another BSOD. I thought to myself, qbittorent is the culprit.

I've analysed my last dump and what do I find? nldrv.sys :

nldrv.sys c'est le pilote utilisé par netlimiter.

I see that a new version of Netlimiter was released yesterday (5.3.13.0). I look at the changelog and see :

I was on version 5.3.10.0, which I installed on 3 May 2024. Looking at eventvwr, I see that I've had BSODs since 3 May:

For me, the culprit is the Netlimiter driver. It crashes when there are a lot of connections. qbittorrent generates a lot of connections.

No it happens with almost any torrent, even just pausing it and restating the program clears the list.

So update on the whole thing.
In the past 3 weeks I got an new SSD and nuked my old windows install. Then I installed v5 beta and it seems to work fine. So or something broke with folder and file permissions in appdata, the program or os had issues with reading or writing to a file or location or idk but everything works now?

did a shutdown killing a non crirital process that would restart the systhem within a minute, and a bsod killing an critical process and qbittorrent works perfectly fine, restored all my torrents so far
