We're not currently prioritizing improvements to the docs guide due to competing priorities. Although, it still exists and we welcome contributions to it. I'm moving tracking of docs guide ideas to #560 so that we can simplify our open issues.
If anyone is interested in working on this, please let us know! We'll gladly reopen this ticket.
