Re-opening as my fix didn't work... any pointers?
I tried to set the root password back to what shows in webinoly info but the site command still fails
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: Y
ES)

I tried purging MySQL and reinstalling etc. Webinoly refused to connect to MySQL. regardless of what I did or changed. So I blew the install out and started again.
Closing issue - if you have any ideas or comments definitely add them. I am not sure what broke where on this one.
