Rafael Monteiro's Projects
Python code for the paper "Binary classification as a phase separation process", by Rafael Monteiro. Further information can be found in the tutorial website below.
Supplementary material for the paper "Landscape-Sketch-Step: An AI/ML-Based Metaheuristic for Surrogate Optimization Problems", by R. Monteiro K. Sau
Under construction
Companion website with an overview of the methods developed in the paper "The Rising Sun Envelope Method: an automatic and accurate peak location technique for XANES measurements".
These are some notes I wrote for internal seminars (audience made up of mathematicians, physicists and other scientists). They are only for teaching purpose.
A glimpse of some stochastic simulation methods. I don't claim originality for the results posted here: these are mostly some quick experiments I did while doing research.
This repository contains the notebook with symbolic computations in SAGE for the paper "Transverse bifurcation of viscous slow MHD shocks", by Blake Barker, Rafael Monteiro, and Kevin Zumbrun. The code is not intended to be optimized, and in several parts (believe it or not) we chose clarity to the detriment of efficiency. The preprint can be found in https://arxiv.org/abs/1901.09153
