πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» Coding Journey

I've always been fascinated by computers and decided to pursue a career as a developer, a dream I realized during my second semester of my bachelor's degree in technology. My first laptop, unfortunately, couldn't meet the system requirements for Windows 10. Undeterred, I dual-booted it with Ubuntu, a Linux distribution that I quickly fell in love with for its speed, user interface, and flexibility.

My initial exposure to computers happened with Windows XP during my childhood, and later, I explored Windows 7 for gaming. However, it was my experience with Ubuntu that truly captivated me. Delving into the terminal packages and customization options, I was astonished by the level of control Linux provided. I tweaked the UI to resemble macOS Big Sur, an endeavor that proved both challenging and rewarding.

After more than a year with Ubuntu, my curiosity led me to Manjaro Linux, attracted by its resource efficiency. Exploring the i3wm and the world of Linux ricing, I spent a week understanding Manjaro's intricacies, including its package manager, Pacman. I even documented my laptop customization journey in videos on my YouTube channel.

Upon graduation, I landed a job as a full-stack developer, exposing me to numerous technologies and frameworks. Despite the excitement of overcoming daily challenges, there has always been a nagging feelingβ€”did I abandon my dream of building my own app for the safety of a job? Now, as I reflect, that burning desire to create my own product resurfaces.

In 2024, I'm determined to reignite the dream I had as a younger version of myselfβ€”to build my own app. I'm currently putting measures in place to make this dream a reality by the end of 2023. Don't wait up, because I'm coming.
