Same problem here on Ubuntu 22.04, Version 1.3.1.
Additionally, each click on the close button on one of the open pickers it create a new task.

@rzw thanks for reporting this. A workaround is nto press F5 or whatever combination reloads a browser on your OS.
@gklingler There is no close button in the date pickers. Can you please specify which button you mean, please?
