Likewise on Ubuntu 14.10 with go version go1.4.1 linux/amd64.
From the stock golang-go 2:1.4.1-1ubuntu1 package.

Please check with commit f753d19. With this rtop will natively support encrypted private keys, and also support auth via ssh-agent correctly.
