This Nagios plugin monitors the Apache server log file in search of State 404, receiving as arguments the full path of the log file, and the maximum values for warning and critical, these values are passed in pairs (50.100), to specify the value of records per IP address and the total respectively. By default the plugin audits all contents of the file, and can be parameterized the number of rows to be read using -n argument. Nagios signals with the warning or critical states, depending on the amount of records detected.

This Nagios plugin monitors the main principals where the executable files are stored, you can optionally be the user to define the principals that you want to monitor in accordance with your system's interests and configuration, by ticking the critical state whenever the new application is installed on the monitored board, the main objective is to have a control of the files that you install. It stores the list of programs in a file, which in case of the program has been legitimately installed, the administrator only needs to erase it.

This Nagios plugin monitors a domain in search of web vulnerabilities, so it uses the scan of Web Nikto vulnerabilities, producing an HTML report, and alerting to the existence of known vulnerabilities, returning the critical state in case of detection. The domain to be monitored is passed as an argument, and can optionally be specified the port of communication, the board where the report will be stored, the name, and the validity time of the report, as well as the types of vulnerabilities to be searched. This Nagios plugin monitors the SSL/TLS settings, using the SSLLABS (https://www.ssllabs.com/) Web service, performs tests on certificates, seeking vulnerabilities, and in case of detection returns the warning or critical state, depending on the arguments defined, namely the domain name and the values for warning and critical, which are based on the classification table of the SSLLAB, and the quantity of days before the expiry of the certificate from which it is desirable to be notified. By omission, the absence of 30 days less for the certificate expires, is notified with the warning state, regardless of the outcome of the Web tests service. Classifications C+, C-, C, D+, D, D- are by default considered critical, whereas ratings and E+, E, E-, F+, F, F-, T, M are interpreted as warning.

This Nagios plugin monitors the version of WordPress, in search of updates, receiving as an argument the full path of the version.php file, where you get information about the version of the software installed, and uses WordPress's Web service to obtain the latest version available at the official site of WordPress, by conversing and notifying the critical state whenever new version or update is detected.
