FILTER does not work :( about hdt-java HOT 3 CLOSED

No. As the code link suggests, it does not seem to be implemented right now... and while I understand what needs to be done, I have no clue how to do this efficiently...

As i understand, FILTER is done by Jena ARQ. But : in the geonames HDT, geo:lat and geo:long are defined as string, not float.

Jena ARQ is unable to compare float vs string, but the error is not thrown. I had to cast my variable :

SELECT ?s ?lat ?long 
WHERE {
   ?s geo:lat ?lat.

It works fine.
