You can use cherry pick in git. I haven't tried on a remote upstream my self but should work in theory I guess :)
Since this is a CRA template there is no way you can download again. I will think of some strategies soon but they will be not super easy so it needs time

Thanks for the warning. It was caused by StrictMode being as a parent. It wouldn't effect the production though. Fixed it in the commit you can just do the same thing if you wanna avoid that.

Thanks for such a quick response. Is there an easy way to "pull" upgrades from this template into my current app that had already snapshotted a particular version in time. I know I can just see what commits have changed since the day I pulled the project, but I'm just wondering if there's a more automated way!
