Hi @danjenkins
When you speak about app closed, you mean in background ?
In background you receive an event that triggers displayIncomingCall and then before receiving answerCall the call is hanged up ?
We don't have this issue, and don't have to put extra stuff in AndroidManifest.

Not in the background - completely killed off. I can invite you to my slack
org or something if you're up for debugging it together or something.
Background works ok for me

If the app is completely killed you can receive anything to be able to display callkeep as your code needs to call displayIncomingCall. I'm surprised that the UI shows up ...
We use pushkit on iOS and firebase background message (https://rnfirebase.io/docs/v5.x.x/messaging/receiving-messages#4)-(Optional)(Android-only)-Listen-for-FCM-messages-in-the-background.) to wake up our app so we are able to call displayIncomingCall.

But there isn't an inbound call, it's an outbound call - the intent from
pressing dial within the dialer should open the app and let me make the
outbound call using the app code (still listening on
didRecieveStartCallAction or whatever the event is called)
I have another intent in Android manifest which listens for an intent
opening a particular URL structure - and that opens the app up from killed,
so I'd expect to have to do something similar here but the voice connection
service in the callkeep lib is confusing me as to who should take that
intent action
Make sense?
