Add deferred to SignalProducer about reactiveswift HOT 7 CLOSED

@mdiep He wants to delay the producer starting side effect. delay postpones only the sending of value and completed. Though, as shown in the link to Rex, it is just a shorthand of .prefix(SignalProducer.empty.delay(1.0, on: UIScheduler())).

Well actually I have a few. The project I am working on requires a lot of communication with external devices over Bluetooth. There are several async processes that must be triggered sequentially. In some case you have to wait for x amount of time between two steps. In those cases I've been using deferred. What is your main concern about adding such a method?

What is your main concern about adding such a method?

We'd like to not add operators without compelling use cases. Otherwise the framework gets rather large and it can become very hard to find the right operator.

The reason I didn''t use delay is that there are side effects that need to happen after x amount of time and those side effects are executed when the producer is started. As far as I know delay delays events but starts the producer right away. Am I correct?
