This is a critical bug as it breaks Redis blocking push semantics, but unfortunately it is not possible to fix it for the 2.4 release as this requires some not so small redesign. The idea is fixing it in the unstable branch before we'll fork it into 2.6, so that 2.6 will get the fix for sure.
There are several options in order to fix this bug, but my feeling is that we should have a different way to propagate commands into the AOF file and replication link, with an explicit API to do this, so that messing with the client command vector is no longer useful. This would simplify many other parts of Redis at this point.

Fixed in unstable, a larger fix / refactoring was needed in order to completely fix the issue that was more complexed than expected. Thanks.
