This package is not compatible with the latest scipy.
Run pip install scipy==1.11.4 after pip install brisque, it will work.

Hi @dibu28, As per the requirements.txt the version of scipy used is 1.7.2
It is recommended to install the requirements file. If you need some updated code from a specific package it's recommended to see the dependency functions.

As @fujita-h suggests it works with a bit more latest version of scipy but I have not personally tested it.

On my end I will try to update the requirements.txt with more latest versions of the used packages.

Ok. Is it possible to update to new version of numpy? As I'm trying to use Brisque with other libraries which require new version of numpy.
