For storage interfaces, it is (in the database); those never get cleaned out.

For tap interfaces (the software constructs in the workers that allow us to plumb host VLAN interfaces into workers), also yes.

It should not be, any longer.
Management interfaces can still get leaked, though, in rare cases.
