In general the patch is not intrusive, basically passes more info downstream to lambda

I see, so from the perspective of upstream ocaml, this is just additional information, that might not be used by the current ocamlopt, but shouldn't hurt? I do imagine this might make it easier to build better lldb/gdb support for ocamlopt with printing of values right?
