What is the probability of not requiring a compiler patch? about rescript-compiler HOT 6 CLOSED

FYI: I made a diff so that you can see the changes I made (some of them are not necessary and can be made smaller)

In general the patch is not intrusive, basically passes more info downstream to lambda

I see, so from the perspective of upstream ocaml, this is just additional information, that might not be used by the current ocamlopt, but shouldn't hurt? I do imagine this might make it easier to build better lldb/gdb support for ocamlopt with printing of values right?

it does not hurt. we try to keep the patch minimal, so it does not help lldb/gdb too much either
