It seems to be affecting the location field as well.

Sorry about that.

No worries. I appreciate all the new features and the speed with which you
implement new features and fix bugs. I updated to v0.2.14 and the title
field now exports, but the problem persists with the location field.

Thanks!

Are you sure you're using the BibLaTeX exporter, not the BibTeX?

from zotero-better-bibtex.

You're right. It does actually export the place field. It's just not getting picked up somewhere along my workflow:

I'm using the Zotero automatic export plugin (http://rokdd.de/b/zotero-autoexport) in combination with your plugin. I have configured the auto-exporter to use your Better BibLatex exporter. Finally, I direct pandoc to the exported biblatex file. So it might be pandoc or the csl that doesn't pick up the place field.

While debugging this issue in my workflow, I also looked at the biblatex documentation (http://ctan.mirrorcatalogs.com/macros/latex/contrib/biblatex/doc/biblatex.pdf). It seems like biblatex types (books, proceedings, etc) expect a location field, and not a place field (see biblatex.pdf, pages 8-12). If I change place to location in an @book entry, the location displayed in the pandoc generated bibliography. Do you think it would make sense to map zotero's place field => biblatex's location field?

Thanks again for all of your efforts!

No, I was wrong; it exported the place field as "place" rather than
"location". There's a new update out.

The "place" being exported was a regression.

If you're using Pandoc BTW, the plugin also includes an exporter that allows drag-and-drop citations in pandoc format.
