Resolved: remove whatsappSession.gob (os.Open(os.TempDir() + "/whatsappSession.gob") and after launch main.go in sendTextMessages, then do login with qr code and message will be sent

+1 confirmed. The message comes from /message.go not /examples/sendTextMessages, which calls the first. Therefore it happens even with custom files to send text.

When I run the sendTextMessage example and change to number to a valid one, the message is sent correctly and there is no error returned. I guess this was fixes along the way so I'm going to close the issue now.
