Our own code shouldn't have anything that explicitly assumes a square shape, other than resizing operations for image outputs which might mess your aspect ratio.
With that said, CLIP resizes inages to 224x224 so some details may end out skewed, and I think Rosinality's SG2 code may build on a square assumption and might prevent you from loading a non-square model in the first place.
If Rosinality doesn't work and you have a non-square pytorch implementation on hand - you can probably just replace the model code and use that as is.
