Thanks @niconoe! You made a lot in such a short time :+1
I think we should prioritize now. For sure the filtering you proposed is needed, but, but... I think we should now work on the early warning mock-up (#9), the most important issue still open to reach the early-warning-webapp milestone.
Then:
- #10
- #11, which is a small version of the filtering you described above
- #13: it would be nice to say them that we can update our dataset at daily basis
If you don't have time to implement the pop-ups (#18) and the switch from exagons to points (#17), we can always present a TODO list to start the discussion!

About the SUBunits, I would wait for and see what the consortium will say about it. If subunits should be added, still I would not visualize them by default.

There is now a basic map overlay for the RIPARIAS study area. Subsequent questions:
- Should the way we display it to be different?
- Do we also need filtering capabilities ("show only occurrences of species X after date Y in river basin Z")?
@damianooldoni: is it something I should improve BEFORE the data provider's meetings or do we wait for their feedback?

Basic viz is enough for this milestone, we'll open new tickets for refinements.
