Yup. the reference output for srli is indeed missing. There are 39 tests in the rv32ui and only 38 references.
Also the verify.sh script in riscv-test-env checks if a corresponding signature exists in the work dir for every signature in the suitedir/references and not the other way round.. and hence it does not show any error message.

good catch, I have added a reverse check to see if a signature is generated for a reference that does not exist, I am also renaming the output signature to be in sympathy with the naming, ie
.reference_output
.signature_output
