sorting a filtered list about knockout-sortable HOT 3 CLOSED

Just noticed the fiddle did not save my mods. I have updated the fiddle to show the error. I would greatly appreciate anyones help on this issue. Many thanks.

@johnstontrav - the sortable binding expects to be dealing with an observableArray, so that when it is sorted it can move the item to its new position in the observableArray.

The easiest way to use the sortable binding with filtered data is to hide the inactive items using the visible binding. This would mean that sorting could happen as normal. It would work something like this: http://jsfiddle.net/rniemeyer/79YHw/

If that doesn't work for you, then there is a more complex way that you could intercept the move and try to place the item into an appropriate spot in the original observableArray. Let me know if that is more preferable and I will give you a code sample.
