Actually,
the above point is not a bug. It is just at odds with how it is explained in the online tutorial. Points are numbered along increasing values of the bifurcation parameter, independently of the order by which they are found during the continuation.
This does not leave space to ambiguities indeed.
So probably this could be labelled as a question. Or just closed.

Well,
the above actually is true as far as only one continuation is launched. It seems instead that, if some points are detected on an extension of the curve, then numbering starts from the last number and again is performed according to the increasing bifurcation parameter, leading inevitably to some confusion... On the other hand it is not possible to
from pydstool.
