Showing warnings and errods like this requires some special UI. Even though
that would be a really nice feature, it's out of the scope of 1.0 version.

We decided that validation support is too important to exclude from 1.0.

IMO list of undefined variables adds very little value to the current functionality. You get the red color when you try to use undefined variable ( Issue 931 ) and the test will fail if you try to execute it.
I'm going to close this as WontFix.
