I am using the SEARCH plugin to look for Test Cases by their TAGS.
The thing is I have hundreds of TC and dozens of TAGS.
So I really miss a the AND/OR in the search.
It would be convenient to have "search TC with TAGS smoke AND method_std"

IMHO this needs some discussion + planning. As it is very old issue (so stars show it as very important although it is just the result of cumulative starring..), there are already some functionalities that try to solve it and this just might be a rather large task to do..

Robot itself has reusable components for comparing tags that support also patterns (e.g. 'foo-*') and combined rules (e.g. 'foo AND bar'). Reusing them in RIDE is probably a good idea. These components will soon also allow finding tests without tags:
