It's not configurable at the moment. And the default number is set to 10 to prevent spamming and for faster response time. But I may consider making it configurable in the fufure.

Ok, no problem. I was asking this to be able to request only 1 quote, with anime filters, because there doesn't seem to have one in the /api/random endpoint

That makes sense. But you can just slice the array down to 1 from the default 10 response. That will be the same thing as making it configurable to get only 1 response.
