Yes as of RPCS3 Version: 0.0.32-16554-53b81af7.
The same curl error (example in the initial issue) occurs. This doesn't just apply to RPCS3 though. The AppImage version of PCSX2(PCSX2/pcsx2#11252) and DuckStation face a similar issue as well. I assume it has something to do with Ubuntu CI builds and how its default/included libraries don't query the same paths like in openSUSE. The workaround of linking /etc/ssl/ca-bundle.pem to /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt for automatic updates still works though.
