I cannot reproduce any build issues with rqlite.

Try running go get -u
from the same directory as that which you build rqlite, though the new change only pulls in standard packages, so I'm not actually sure what is going on.
What version of Go are you running?

Yep, It was a version issue. I switched to go1.4.2, and am using GVM now, and it worked great. Sorry about that.
