Sorry, it's a bug. Shiny returns a list(file="foo") and I inadvertently count on that. I'll get that fixed.

I'm about to push a fix for this.

I have to admit I didn't know about the structure function until earlier this week. Is there an advantage to structure(myfile, names="file") over c(file=myfile)?

BTW, in case it's helpful to you, the reason Shiny returns a list is because you can optionally add a boolean owned value; if true, then httpuv will delete the file when it's done sending it. e.g. list(file=myfile, owned=TRUE)

Ah. I am handling this in the code itself. I think I'll stick with the Rook spec so that the app is portable.
