does this Curses support the wide version of ncurses?

It might not be worth the effort, I think merging would be a matter of
closing one of the two projects.

I don't know about support, I'll need to check when I get to my computer, but the extconf.rb can detect ncursesw (https://github.com/ruby/curses/blob/master/ext/curses/extconf.rb#L33) and you can draw characters in the Unicode basic multilingual plane to the terminal.

Hello, I'm the original author of this binding.

ncursesw looks feature rich but it has a different concept from this project,
so I'd like to maintain this project for my own use rather than closing.
