You need to add the Contentful env variables in Netlify. Check this out: https://docs.netlify.com/configure-builds/environment-variables/

Also, it could be that some of the plugins changed. This repo is not really updated for a long time... I suggest to migrate all the packages to their latest version as well.

@el-pol is correct. Likely you need to have the relevant Contentful env variables defined in Netlify.

Additionally this repo has not been updated in a couple years so if you update to gatsby v3 or update any plugins additional changes may be necessary.

@el-pol Yes. Eventually I would like to update to Gatsby v3. I was holding off a bit as it looks like Gatsby is working on improvements to gatsby-plugin-contentful that may introduce breaking changes.
