it appear to be caused by the mask, having Mask Mode on None lets it generate correctly, but without the masks of course. i guess there's just a bug in Automatic1111, not this extension. i had noticed discoloration on inpainted areas before, but it never got this bad before.

to be able to generate correctly while using a mask, switch to the inpainting tab on img2img, and put Masked content on original.
this would be better if it was automatically forced to use original because the other modes will cause artifacts.
